Claire didn’t know much about her life. But she did know this:
Demons were real.
And demons were trying to kill her – all the damn time.
Ever since she had found out that she had the power to move things with her mind, demons had come knocking on her doorstep, fireball in hand, ready to try and burn her face off.
After 7 years of it, Claire had almost become accustomed to it. But when the nightmares starts, that’s when she draws the line.
As if it wasn’t enough getting attacked during the day, now she was also being plagued when she slept. Hundreds of voices, speaking to her, telling her that some Shadow was rising. What was she supposed to do with that?
One day, a demon attack lands her in jail, and her hopes of graduating high school seems lost – especially since she burned it down, by accident of course. However, a mysterious stranger comes to her rescue, and offers her a place at his university for people like her – The Magi.
Claire had never even known that what she was had a name, and her curiosity to find out more about who she is, sets her on a course to the school.
The only thing that stranger forgot to mention, was that the university is all boys school.
Not knowing this, Claire goes, in the hopes of finding out more about herself and her family that only consists of her, her grandmother and a father, whom she has never met.
But it soon turns out that the university is a lot more than Claire has bargained for, and during her first year, she realises that she might be in even greater danger at the school than she was back home.
And when her nightmares returns, everything changes.

Anmeldereksemplar fra forfatteren.

The Seeker startede virkelig godt ud.
